What a Nerve! Edition

Limited to 22 signed and numbered copies (all books are numbered the same, "1 of 22"), this edition is inscribed the "What a Nerve! Edition" and comes with an original print from the Barks Estate. Barks had a number of these prints made in 1967 for promotional purposes. It measures 6.5 inches by 8.5 inches on glossy paper and comes in a protective Mylar sleeve tucked inside the book. Also included is a signed Certificate of Authenticity.

The print, reproduced from Barks' original oil "What a Nerve!" (#23-67), the twenty-third painting he completed in 1967, was first printed in that year's edition of Treasury of Living Art, and probably represents Barks' first print reproduced in color. It is suitable for framing. The history of the print is covered on pages 144-147, where the painting is reproduced at its original size.
